Is your tracking honest ?
Enter the address of a page and get a quick check of its Google tags, Consent Mode V2 defaults, consent banner and ad pixels, read from the page source in a few seconds. It's free, and nothing is stored.
Check a Page
Start with your homepage, then try a landing page your ads send people to. The check needs JavaScript; without it, write to me and I'll look for you.
What It Checks
- Whether a Consent Mode default is set before Google Tag Manager or gtag.js loads
- Whether the default covers all four Consent Mode V2 signals, and whether any of them start as granted
- Which consent banner the page uses, from Cookiebot and Usercentrics to Complianz and Borlabs
- GTM containers loaded twice, more than one container, and Google tags hardcoded next to GTM
- Google tags configured twice, which usually doubles every page view
- Universal Analytics code that still loads after Google switched it off
- Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Pinterest, X and Snap pixels, Hotjar and Clarity, and whether they wait for consent
What It Can't See
The check reads the HTML your server sends, the way a search engine would. It doesn't click the banner, run the page's JavaScript or open your Google Tag Manager container.
So it can't tell whether tags in GTM wait for consent, whether conversions reach Google Ads, or whether GA4 counts bots and your own visits. A clean result here is a good start, not a clean bill of health.
The Tracking Audit covers the rest: I follow the data from the browser to Google Ads, fix each break where it starts, and write down what I found, from €150. If you want to know how the signals work first, read Consent Mode V2.
