Conversion tracking your ad spend can trust .

I set up and repair Consent Mode V2, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Google Ads conversion tracking for agencies and businesses, so every conversion is counted once, with consent, and where your bidding can use it.

Same Visitors, Two Setups

Watch simulated visitors run through the chain, from the browser to Google Ads. Flip between a setup that drifts and one that has been fixed.

  1. Browser Visitors convert
  2. Consent banner Their choice
  3. Tag Manager Tags and triggers
  4. GA4 Events, key events

  • Conversion with consent
  • Cookieless ping
  • Bot
  • Duplicate or before consent

Before: tags fire before consent, a duplicate tag double-counts, bots reach Google Ads, and some conversions never arrive. An illustration, not client data.

Sound Familiar

Most tracking doesn't fail loudly. It drifts, and Google Ads keeps bidding on whatever it is told.

  • Conversions that don't add up Duplicate tags and form attempts counted as leads Each conversion counted once
  • A banner that controls nothing Tags load before or regardless of the visitor's choice Tags wait for consent, with all four signals
  • Reports you can't believe GA4 full of bot and internal traffic Bot and internal traffic filtered out
  • Warnings nobody fixes Tags and conversion actions that never reach a green status Every step checked until it shows a healthy status
  • A container nobody dares to touch Years of tags, triggers, and variables without a standard One standard, written down for your team

Tracking Audit

From €150

Fixed quote · Around 3–5 days

For tracking that is already in place but can't be trusted. I follow the data from the browser to Google Ads and fix each break where it starts.

  • Review of the GTM container: what fires, what is duplicated, unused, or broken
  • Every step from GTM to GA4 to Google Ads checked until it shows a healthy status
  • Bot and internal traffic filtered out of GA4
  • A written report of what was found, what was fixed, and what to watch

Ongoing Tracking Care

From €120 a month

Monthly retainer

For teams whose sites and campaigns keep changing. Tracking stays correct after the launch, not just on the day it ships.

  • A monthly check of tags, conversion actions, and consent behavior
  • Changes when the site, forms, or campaigns change
  • New events and conversions added to the same standard
  • A short monthly note of what was checked and changed

How It Works

Four steps, and you know the price before any work starts.

  2. Review & quote I look at your setup with read access, then send a fixed quote.
  3. Build & verify Changes tested in Preview mode, DebugView, and every consent state.
  4. Hand-off Documentation your team can maintain after I'm gone.

Why Me

You work directly with the engineer doing the work. No account managers, no hand-offs to juniors.

  • Day Job

Tracking is my day job: I currently work remotely on tracking infrastructure for a marketing agency in Hamburg, and I've built and maintained more than 75 websites since 2020.

  • Same Setup at Home

I practice what I sell. This site runs the same consent setup I build for clients, described in How This Site Is Tracked.

  • Time Zones

I'm based in Yogyakarta (UTC+7), so my afternoons overlap with mornings in Europe, and an AI-native workflow keeps delivery fast without cutting corners.

Questions

Do you work for agencies?

Yes. I work with agencies on their clients' accounts, under your name if you prefer. Your client sees your agency, and I deliver to your standard and documentation.

What access do you need?

Usually access to Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Google Ads, and to the website or CMS where the consent banner is installed. For an audit, read access is enough to start.

Which consent banners do you work with?

The one you already have, as long as it can send Consent Mode signals. I've connected CMPs such as Borlabs Cookie and custom banners like the one on this site.

Is this legal advice?

No. I implement and document the technical setup so your data protection officer or lawyer can review exactly what is collected and when.

How do payment and invoicing work?

Prices are in euros. Every project starts with a fixed quote, and Tracking Care is billed monthly.

Start

Tell me what you have and what you need. I'll usually reply within one working day with how I'd approach it and a quote.
