Notes on Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Consent Mode V2, and Google Ads conversions: how a measurement setup should work, and how this site is tracked.
Measurement
5 Notes
- How This Site Is Tracked How sultankautsar.com is tracked: a hand-built consent banner, Consent Mode V2 in advanced mode, Google Tag Manager, seven interaction events, a separate consent-update event, and a strict Content Security Policy.
- Google Tag Manager Clean up, speed up, and secure your Google Tag Manager container: GTM audits, server-side tagging, and a data layer the site and the container can both rely on.
- Google Ads Conversion Tracking How Google Ads conversion tracking works, from the click ID to primary and secondary actions, server-side tagging, and offline imports, so automated bidding learns from conversions that really happened.
- Consent Mode V2 How Consent Mode V2 works with Google Tag Manager: the four signals, basic and advanced mode, the common mistakes, and how to follow GDPR without losing the data your decisions depend on.
- Google Analytics 4 How I set up Google Analytics 4 around the customer journey: events, parameters, key events, a tracking plan, and the checks I run so the reports can answer a hard question.

- WordPress Security WordPress incidents from start to finish: compromises and cleanups, the spam left behind, locking the sites down, and the load that followed.
